Announcing the introduction of the HP 81 Dye and HP 83 UV 3-ink Multipacks. These multipacks include three HP 81 Dye or HP 83 UV ink cartridges of the same color and offer substantial savings and increased productivity to high-volume users.
The 3-ink multipacks are designed to provide high-volume customers with a greater value and a 20 percent cost savings over individual ink cartridges, the 3-ink multipacks offer added flexibility in HP product offerings for the HP Designjet 5500/5000 series printers.
Increased printhead ink usage warranty
In support of the new 3-ink multipacks, the warranty for HP 81 dye and HP 83 UV printheads have been increased more than 40 percent-from 700 ml to 1000 ml. This enhancement is designed to maximize the efficiency of both the 3-ink multipack and existing value packs.

 * Printhead warranty - Each HP printhead is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship until the "end of warranty" date printed on the product is reached, or until 1,000 ml of HP genuine ink is delivered through the printhead, whichever comes first.
 * Ink Cartridge warranty - Each HP 81 dye and HP 83 UV ink cartridge is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship until the HP genuine ink is depleted, as indicated by the printer, or until the "end of warranty" date printed on the ink cartridge is reached, whichever occurs first.
